Biography[]
Zack is the troubled son of Mel Powers and Jack's nephew. He is the main antagonist of season 3.
Zack has had a lot of problems in his life. He was kicked out of school, vandalized the factory, and got a girl pregnant. At the end of season 3, he ran away with Carmen, though it turned out that he was only dating Carmen for sex. She would not give in, so he went back home after breaking up with Carmen and leaving her in San Francisco. When he got back to his home town, Benny hit him with a wrench outside of the factory.
Carmen mentions that Mel was never there for Zack and his mom is a bitter old drunk, sharing a similar background to that of Carmen's father George.
