About Maria
Born in Orange, California, Maria was raised in Guadalajara Mexico. [1] Upon her graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University, Maria decided to head to Los Angeles and pursue an acting career.[1]
In addition to her "GL" appearance, Maria also has made guest appearances on ABC-TV's General Hospital soap series, the Disney Channel's Lizzie McGuire series, and Univision's Vidas Cruzadas webnovela series on its Univision.com website. She also appeared in two episodes of Hulu's East Los High web series as Offie, in the episodes "Valentine's Day" and "I'm Not Eating Mexican".[2] Her theatre acting credits include productions of "Lost in Yonkers", "Grease", "West Side Story", "The Shattered Mirror", and "Not with My Rosie".
